What is Africa Awareness Week?

Africa Awareness Week (AAW) is a global initiative fostering dialogue, collaboration, and action to strengthen connections between Africa and its diaspora. Established over 30 years ago at Morehouse College, AAW brings together scholars, leaders, students, and innovators to engage in critical discussions on Africa’s development, history, and future. 

Each year, AAW explores key themes in politics, economics, technology, culture, and sustainability, providing a platform for: 
In-depth panel discussions with global experts, Cultural showcases celebrating African heritage  and Innovative projects driving real-world change 

With a legacy of impactful collaborations, AAW continues to be a leading force in shaping Africa’s narrative and future opportunities.
